General elections to the Cortes Generales were held in Spain on 21 August 1881. At stake were all 392 seats in the Congress of Deputies. Though formally competitive, the 1881 general election was held under the recently developed system of Turno Pacifico; in accordance with a semi-formal power-sharing arrangement brokered by Antonio Cánovas del Castillo, elections (under influence by machine bosses called caciques) served as a rubber stamp for a routine handover of power initiated by the King. The 1881 election, as expected, sanctioned the pre-arranged handover from the Conservatives to the Liberals. From 1881 until the end of the constitutional monarchy, the Turno power-sharing plan would continue almost uninterrupted, dominating the electoral politics of Spain utterly. ==Results== File:Spanish Congress of Deputies election, 1881 results.svg|Spanish Congress of Deputies, after the election Summary of the 21 August 1881 Spanish Congress of Deputies election results |- bgcolor="#E9E9E9" align="center" ! colspan="4" rowspan="2" align="left" | Parties and coalitions ! colspan="3" | Votes ! colspan="2" | Congress |- bgcolor="#E9E9E9" align="center" ! width="75" | # ! width="30" | % ! width="45" | Swing ! width="30" | Seats ! width="35" | +/− |- | bgcolor="#C5EAAC" rowspan="2" | | bgcolor="" | | align="left" width="250"| Liberal Fusionist Party | width="50"| PLF | || || | 290 || 226 |- | bgcolor="" | | align="left" | Independent Monarchic Progresists | Mon Ind | || || | 10 || 10 |- bgcolor="#C5EAAC" | colspan="4" align="left" | Total Liberals | || || | 300 || 222 |- | bgcolor="#AED7FF" | | bgcolor="" | | align="left" | Conservative Party | PLC | || || | 62 || 233 |- bgcolor="#AED7FF" | colspan="4" align="left" | Total Conservatives | || || | 62 || 242 |- | bgcolor="#FFCEE3" rowspan="2" | | bgcolor="#D64BD6" | | align="left" | Democratic Party | PD | || || | 12 || 6 |- | bgcolor="#54C254" | | align="left" | Progressive Republican Democratic Party | PPRD | || || | 10 || 2 |- bgcolor="#FFCEE3" | colspan="4" align="left" | Total Republicans | || || | 22 || 8 |- | bgcolor="#BCC9F5" rowspan="2" | | bgcolor="#112978" | | align="left" | Catholic Union | UC | || || | 2 || 1 |- | bgcolor="#112978" | | align="left" | Traditionalists | T | || || | 2 || 2 |- bgcolor="#BCC9F5" | colspan="4" align="left" | Total Carlists and Catholics | || || | 4 || 3 |- | bgcolor="#008684" | | align="left" colspan="2" | Basque Union | UV | || || | 1 || 0 |- | bgcolor="" | | align="left" colspan="2" | Independents | Indep | || || | 3 || 1 |- | bgcolor="" | | align="left" colspan="3" | Others | || || bgcolor="#E9E9E9" | | 0 || 3 |- | colspan="9" bgcolor="#E9E9E9" | |- style="font-weight:bold;" | align="left" colspan="4" | Total | ~604,879 || 100.00 || bgcolor="#E9E9E9" | | 392 || 0 |- | colspan="9" bgcolor="#E9E9E9" | |- style="font-weight:bold;" | align="left" colspan="4" | Votes cast / turnout | ~604,879 || 71.46 || 2.46 | bgcolor="#E9E9E9" colspan="2" rowspan="3" | |- | align="left" colspan="4" | Abstentions | ~241,602 || 28.54 || 2.46 |- style="font-weight:bold;" | align="left" colspan="4" | Registered voters | ~846,481 || bgcolor="#E9E9E9" colspan="2" | |- | colspan="9" bgcolor="#E9E9E9" | |- | align="left" colspan="9" | Source: *(Historia Electoral ) *(Spain Historical Statistics ) |} 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Spanish general election, 1881」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
